Do I need a contact list?
No. This service works from the network’s inventory inside the area you choose; you do not upload any numbers.
Can I contract just one network?
Yes. You can pick one network, two, or all of the available ones, and each has its own agreement and minimum: Vodafone and Orange at 10,000 messages for EGP 3,750 each, and Etisalat by e& at 5,000 for EGP 1,750.
How many characters do I get in a message?
Up to 134 characters for an Arabic message and 306 for an English one — more room than an ordinary bulk message.
Can I choose the handset type?
Yes. You can target iPhone handsets, Android handsets or both, and set the prospective customer’s average monthly bill category.
Is this the same as Location-Based SMS?
No. This one targets a geographic area chosen in advance. Location-Based SMS fires when a visitor actually arrives at an eligible place such as a mall or an exhibition.
